‘Extreme vandalism’ at Vancouver municipal golf course renders golf carts out of service

Golfers forced to walk course until further notice

Golfers who wish to play Vancouver’s city-owned McCleery Golf Course will have to walk until further notice.

The city has reported a recent act of “extreme vandalism” has taken McCleery’s fleet of power golf carts out of action.

The vandalism targeted equipment and property at the golf course.

Vancouver police are investigating the matter.
